A plain summary of the current proposed product rules. These are not binding terms.

Setup and activation

Setting up your academy is free. Nothing is charged.
New institutes need activation by BAND AI before you can invite students or start the trial. Setting up your academy does not make the service available straight away.

7 days, 1 student.
Starts when you send your first student invitation, after activation.
Includes 2 Reading, 2 Listening, 1 Writing and 1 Speaking practice assignments, and 1 full practice test.
One trial per account.
The plan you pick during setup is a choice for later. It is not part of the trial.
Your saved work stays readable when access ends.

Proposed prices in US dollars, billed monthly. Annual billing is not offered.
Every plan has the same features; plans differ only by student seats.
Teachers do not use student seats.
Online payment collection is not switched on yet. Tax treatment and payment terms will be confirmed before checkout opens.

Each monthly paid course period: 50 learning tasks, shared across Reading, Listening, Writing and Speaking.
That equals 25 automatic lessons of 2 tasks. Automatic lessons are previewed a week at a time; your teacher confirms them.
Teachers can also assign tasks themselves, in any mix and at their own pace, on any remaining day of the course period. Automatic and manual tasks use the same 50.
Allowances do not roll over. Unused tasks end with the course period.
A replacement student continues the seat’s remaining allowance; it does not start a new one.

Separate from the 50 learning tasks.
Up to 1 each course week (at most 5), depending on the course weeks in the period and the content available.

Reading and Listening are marked automatically.
Writing feedback is given when processing is available.
Speaking recordings are reviewed by your teacher. Automatic Speaking assessment is not available yet.
Practice bands are indicative, not official IELTS results.

You decide what to charge your students.
If students pay through BAND AI, a 10% student-payment handling fee applies, in addition to your monthly subscription. It is intended to cover BAND AI’s administration, bank and Stripe costs — not a revenue share. There is no handling fee on student fees you collect independently.
Tuition through BAND AI is charged in US dollars for now. Online payment collection is not switched on yet.

Monthly revenue = example fee per student × all seats filled. At $900: $4,500, $22,500, $54,000 and $90,000.
Shown before your subscription, handling fees, tax and other costs. Examples only; your revenue depends on your students and fees.
“Plan price covered by” = the fewest students whose fees reach the plan price after the 10% handling fee on payments collected through BAND AI.
At $900, each student’s fee is $810 after the fee: 1 student covers $149, $329 or $699; 2 students cover $1,149.

The BAND AI improvement guarantee applies only to eligible BAND AI direct students. It does not apply to institute setup, institute plans or institute students.
